You mean without risking prison time, right? Well, you can get elected to the City Council, or you can get hired as a police officer.

    Um, move? That way, you can buy the handgun, but you won't live in Chicago, which I consider two pluses.

    I've seen that search get to one of my blogs as well.

    However, you can own a handgun and live in Chicago...you just can't keep them in Chicago. I have several handguns.
